Our trip down to the Harlequin Pub last night led to a drawn match against Sheffield Nomads 'C' team. Details can be found on the Results page. I hope to post Geoff Brown's win over Kevin Marshall on board 1 shortly, along with Geoff's draw against Steve Bracey from weeks ago, which I had forgotten.

We seem to have shrugged off our losing streak at last but our smiles last night were tinged with sadness after news brought to us by Captain Bob of the death of long-time club member Frank Hayes. I hope to have more about Frank in a later post.
