The capture of bPd7 by a white unit introduces a threat of 2.Se6#.
1.Sxd7? cxd3 x 2.Rxb4#, but 1...Sxd3! y
1.cxd7? Sxd3 y 2.Sc6#, but 1...cxd3! x (wRb7 is pinned)
1.Rbxb7! cxd3 x 2.Qxb4# and 1...Sxd3 y 2.Qxd5#
The mates for both x and y are changed; the same pattern as Chris
Reeves’s A in the original tourney announcement. There is an
extra correction phase here. 1.Rexd7? Sxd3 2.Qxd5 - 1...Rxd3!
(2.Sxf5?)
