The Problemist Supplement, 2010

#2
SIREN a2:
TRITON: b1

1.SIb3! (2.SIb6#)

1...b6 2.SIb5#
1...b5 2.SIb4#
1...Sd7 2.SIc4#
1...Sc6 2.Sd7#
1...TRxb3-b4 2.a3*b4#

In the threat, b7 is blocked and this stops Black playing 1...TRxb6-b7. Because of this any move by the bPb7 defeats the threat, but this just allows White a mate with the Siren one square below the new position of the black pawn. 1...Sd7 allows 2.SIc4# as Black can no longer play 1...Sc6. 1...Sc6 is an orthodox self-block and the final variation is a simple capture mate.
