In each solution, the bLE, which is acting a a hurdle guarding b3 and c3, selfblocks on one of those squares, leaving the other one unguarded. Then a white Chinese Piece occupies the square just vacated, acting as a hurdle for guarding the square not selfblocked. On move two the bVA unpins the wMA, being careful to avoid being in a position to interfere with the mating MAO.
